When Lex played it for me, I couldn’t believe it, it seemed as though all these songs had just popped out of nowhere fully formed — I was like, where did this come from?  My band was nothing like Mike’s music, but I instantly loved it.

I have no idea how the other sounds (Billie Holiday, etc) got on there.  It was just like that when I got it.  To me it only adds to the timeless mystique…  – John
